Lydiah Wambui Wangungu Ph. D (currently-submitted the thesis on 15th August 2014) ,MA (Kenyatta University), B.ED (Egerton University). She is a successful and highly experienced lecturer with over seventeen years experience in teaching English and Linguistics in secondary schools, teacher training colleges and universities. Among the institutions she has taught at include, Kilimambogo TTC,(1997-2011), Part-time Lecturer, Daystar University and Mount Kenya University (2010-2012) . Lydia has also contributed greatly in the field of writing and authorship:

July 2009    Presented a Paper on “The Listening Ability in English of Learners Joining Secondary School in Kenya” at an International Conference on Education at Kenyatta University

Lydia is an individual with excellent people  management and training skills. She is   a member of  Board of  Management , Kipipiri and Kyandoni Secondary Schools in Nyandarua County and Kitui County respectively. Currently , she is an assistant lecturer in the Department of Linguistics and Communication at South Eastern Kenya University. She is also the Departmental Examination and Timetabling coordinator.
