Dr. Paul N. Mwangi, BA, MA, PhD. (Nairobi University), PG Cert Belfast.

Department of Anthropology and Sociology
Lecturer in the Departments of Sociology and Anthropology, and Community and Development Studies South Eastern Kenya University.  His research interest is interdisciplinary: development, political, religious, ethical, anthropological, and sociological and gender approaches to contemporary challenges. He studied and qualified for Ph.D., M.A. and B.A. (Hons) at the University of Nairobi. He has also a post graduate certificate in theological education from Belfast Bible College Northern Island. He is currently pursuing Masters of Arts in Theological Education from the London School of Theology in conjunction with Middlesex University UK.
Dr. Mwangi has worked as the Chairman Department of Sociology and Anthropology. He is currently the Dean School of Humanities where he also lecturers on various subjects related to religion, social change and development. He has authored two chapters in two different books: The Role of Missionary Religions in Global Ethics in the book Applied Ethics in Religion and Culture: Contextual and Global Challenges (2012)
 (2012) and Celebrating Human Diversity in Building the Kingdom of God on Earth: A Bahai Perspective (2009), in the book, Inter-faith Dialogue Towards a Culture of Working Together, (2009).  He is the co-editor of A Century of God’s Household in the Diocese of Mount Kenya South (2002).
